another great day

Friday evening we went to the highlights concert for the Penticton music festival.Saige was singing and of course was the last one to sing then she had to wait to get her awards. it was a long evening The worst part is we had to pay $25 to hear our daughter sing after all the money we spend for lessons and the competition you would think they would at least give us one or two tickets. I know there are costs to everything but sometimes I find it tiring to have to always be the one paying. Moving onto happy things, Yes Saige won and is going to the provincial competition, this is in addition to the other national competition she is going to in July. Saturday I went to a mobile home fire the crew made short work of the fire and we actually had a good portion of the mobile still standing not that it was going to be usable but it looks good when you drive away with some of the building still there. My guys do a great job every time out.

then we went again to Penticton to an RV show, there was nothing there that we couldn’t live without.  We had BBQ steaks for supper which were really great  Today we had a relaxing day with a short bike ride in the morning we saw a nest with baby owls in it  then home for BBQ hot dogs for lunch outside in the sunshine  I finished off the Pinot Gris from Red Rooster and opened a Sauv Blanc from Desert hills. Tonight we are relaxing with a roast chicken dinner served with Fairview cellars 2005 Bear which is very nice as is the roast chicken
